Justin Grundy Named Head Football Coach at Bardstown High School

Bardstown High School is excited to announce Justin Grundy as its next head football coach. Grundy brings 15 years of coaching and playing experience to Bardstown, where he has served as a position coach and defensive coordinator.

He succeeds former Bardstown head coach David Clark, who stepped down from the position in December after being the head coach since 2007.

A Bardstown native, Grundy played football, basketball, and track at Bardstown High School (BHS). Grundy was a 2001 state championship team member and played on the 2002 Kentucky All-Star Team. After graduating from BHS in 2002, Grundy played college football for Eastern Kentucky University as a linebacker.  Grundy earned a bachelor of arts in public relations, a master’s degree in special education from Campbellsville University, and his Rank I in counseling from the University of Cumberlands. In 2008 he started his teaching and coaching career at Bardstown City Schools.  Grundy is the father of four tigers.
