The Bardstown Swimming team competed in a Senior Championship Meet held at the Lebanon Aquatics Center Center on Thursday, February 25th. The championship meet included swimmers from Marion County, Bethlehem, Nelson County, Thomas Nelson, and Bardstown.
Bardstown won the girl’s division. Alaina Walton broke Lebanon Aquatic Center record in the 500 Freestyle with time of 6:53.77. Ava Culver won Top Senior Girl with first place in 50 Freestyle and 100 Freestyle. Lilly Dobbs tied the Lebanon Aquatics Center 100 Backstroke record with 1:21.67. Lilly Dobbs, Nora Riley, Anna Yoshioka, Alaina Walton broke LAC record in 200 Medley Relay with 2:19.81.
Bardstown placed second in the boy’s division. Keith Patrick Dale, Hagan O’Daniel, Xavier Spalding-Allen, and Sakan Som had their fastest time in the 400 Freestyle Relay.Congratulations on an awesome performance, Bardstown swimmers!
